CSM – The 6th Conference of PhD Students in Mathematics
CSM, the Conference of PhD Students in Mathematics provides a scientific forum for PhD (or maybe MSc) students and young researchers to present their work. This year, we tend to hold the conference offline to enable participation in interesting and fruitful discussions, and meeting other young researchers in Szeged, the beautiful city of sunshine.
Conference topics
All aspects of mathematics and related fields, including theory and applications, e.g. algebra, analysis, differential equations, geometry, numeric and symbolic computation.
CSM will provide a forum for the
presentation of the latest research and developments in theory, algorithms, and applications of mathematics,
reporting of interesting case studies in industrial and scientific applications of mathematics,
demonstration of software for mathematics.
Selected papers may be published in the issues of Acta Scientiarum Mathematicarum (Szeged).
Format
A few plenary sessions for invited talks (40 minutes).
Sessions for contributions (20 minutes).
Submissions
Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract (in English, about one large page) electronically to csm@server.math.u-szeged.hu.
Important Dates
As soon as possible register on the conference to be included in the mailing list for further information.
May 20, 2022 – deadline for the conference registration
May 20, 2022 – deadline for the extended abstract submissions
May 31, 2022 – notification on the acceptance of the talks
Participation fee
The conference participation fee is 45000 HUF (with standard student hostel dormitory), 35000 HUF (without accommodation).
Conference site

(CS)2 – The 13th Conference of PhD Students in Computer Science
CSCS, the Conference of PhD Students in Computer Science provides a scientific forum for PhD student to present their ongoing research work. This year, our plan is to hold the conference offline to enable participation in interesting and fruitful discussions, and meeting other young researchers in Szeged, the beautiful city of sunshine. We hope the pandemic situation and actual regulations will not overwrite our plans and enforce us to go online.
Topics of interest
All aspects of computer science and related fields, including theory and applications, e.g. algorithms and data structures, artificial intelligence, automata and formal languages, complexity theory, databases, fuzzy theory, image processing, optimization, and software engineering.
CSCS will provide a forum for the
presentation of the latest research and developments in theory, algorithms, and applications of computer science,
reporting of interesting case studies in industrial and scientific applications of computer science,
demonstration of software for computer science.
Format
Plenary sessions for invited talks (40 minutes).
Sessions for contributions (20 minutes).
Publications
A volume of short papers – available at the beginning of the conference. Each paper will be reviewed before the acceptance.
Selected papers will be invited to be submitted as full papers to a special issue of the Acta Cybernetica (abstracted by Mathematical Reviews, Computing Reviews, and Zentralblatt für Mathematics, also indexed by Scopus and DBLP) journal.
Organized by
Institute of Informatics, University of Szeged
